Photos taken by Hunting Lease Service. Elk was taken by the rancher, who drew a muzzleloader tag about 2007. The mounted deer were taken between 2006 and 2009 by the rancher and his sons. The live pictures were taken by trail cams in November and December 2010.

Location: south and east of Mount Nebo, Utah

Acreage: 5,000 acres

Terms: 25% upon booking, 25% Jan. 1, 2012, 25% June 1, balance 30 days before arrival

Camping: public land nearby, camping not allowed on ranch to keep deer on property

Season dates: late August archery
mid-October rifle
early October muzzleloader

Terrain: Mostly rolling sage, grass and cedar hills

Landowner vouchers: No, you must apply in January or February, but all non-resident applicants get tags

Price: $6,000 for the entire rifle season, the entire bow season or the entire muzzleloader season.

Hunting quality: Lots of deer in the area. Rancher saw over 100 deer one day last week (May 2010). Lots of bucks. Bigger bucks typically 22 to 26 inches.

Duration: entire season (bow, muzzleloader or rifle)

Maximum hunters: Three per season.

Lodging: no

Notes: There are two water holes on the property where bowhunters who wish to wait on stand could hunt.
